Anonymous asked: Whyh is it called the ADAsynth? Is it finished?
The letters ADA is an acronym for Analog to Digital to Analog.
That’s how the synth works. It receives analog parameter signals, from either knob turning or other devices, analyzes the signals via computation, and then outputs digitally controlled analog signals based upon these computations.
It is nearly complete now. There are small issues with the envelope but otherwise, it seems to be in the final stages.
Next, I need to learn about the process of having PCBs made. I would enjoy making kits of these for anyone that is interested. It would be incredibly easy for even an electronics beginner to put together as the only components besides potentiometers and jacks are a couple resistors and chips.
